For the first time in 2010, the ACM/IEEE Joint Conference on Digital Libraries (JCDL) and the annual International Conference on Asia-Pacific Digital Libraries (ICADL) will be held together at the Gold Coast in Australia. The two conferences will each have their own Call for Papers and accepted research paper streams. However, workshops, plenaries, tutorials and social events will be held concurrently.
JCDL welcomes submissions in the areas of computer science, information science, librarianship, archival science and practice and preservation technologies. Submissions associated with the JCDL 2010 theme of "Vision 2020 - Beyond Digital Libraries" are particularly welcome.
ICADL welcomes submissions in the areas of computer science, library and information science and knowledge management in the applications of environmental sciences, social sciences, humanities and museum studies. Submissions associated with the ICADL 2010 theme, of "Digital Libraries in a Time of Global Change", as well as case studies and practical implementations are particularly welcome.
